BIO
Having spent the best part of a decade working on various musical projects, supporting the likes of The Damned, Wednesday 13 and The Birthday Massacre, the UK based five-piece, South Of Salem — Joey [Vocals], Kodi [Guitar], Dee [Bass], Denis [Guitar] and James [Drums] — decided to refocus their efforts on something new.
Choosing to work with acclaimed producer, Scott Atkins (Cradle Of Filth, Amon Amarth, Sylosis and Behemoth), the band's debut single was a sonic leap forward from their previous musical ventures. Taking influence from British Heavy Metal and the U.S. Hard Rock scene, South Of Salem have created an original sound, full of infectious hooks, fierce solos and unrelenting attitude.
Their debut album 'The Sinner Takes It All' was released on September 25th 2020. The album has spawned four singles so far, each with their own music video. At the time of writing this, these videos have collectively gained over 466,000 views across Facebook and Youtube and have been met with an overwhelmingly positive response.
With an already 9,500+ strong Facebook following, over half a million streams on Spotify and a great live show, the band are certainly making waves.

MUSIC

The band's 10 track album 'The Sinner Takes It All' was produced by Scott Atkins at Grindstone Studios, Suffolk, UK. It features guest keyboards/orchestration from ex-Defiled and current Red Method keyboardist Alex 'The AVD' Avdis. With credits including Cradle of Filth, Amon Amarth, Sylosis and Behemoth, Scott was the driving force behind the band's development, pushing them in new directions and perfecting their sound.
"Proudly put, it's by far one of the most radio-friendly albums I've ever produced. With the drive and determination these guys have, big opportunities are sure to come their way."
